Even prior to actually getting there am I concerned about my financial predicaments! Thinking about whether my accomodation has accepted my opening sum of rent in time, the extras that come with that aspect of expenditures and then there's the thought of arriving there with my loans and grants yet to arrive in my bank account!
I'm sure I won't rant on as much as this in future blogs about mone...

The panic is setting in. There are only 9 days until I leave for University and I haven't begun any preparations yet. Why? Because I'm on holiday and have been abroad since the day after results. Nightmare. Don't get me wrong, I love abit of sunshine but the past week and a half have proved that now was not the ideal time to indulge in such things. I have received several emails from my Uni about ...

Ok, so i'm starting uni in under 3 weeks now and I think I'm starting to feel properly excited now. Getting the results and seeing my place confirmed on the UCAS website didn't really feel like it was really happening to me but now the accommodation is sorted and I'm starting to get things ready to take with me, it all feels official.
Of course with all of this come nerves. So I'm scared I won't ...

Exactly a month to go until I begin packing my life into old electronics boxes and move northward.
"I'm not really anxious, more excited" is has been an overused phrase of late, and one not entirely appropriate (if someone can find an adjective that fits neatly between the two please contact Oxford University Press to have it authenticated so I can use it over and over again every time...

I'm one of those people where life really wants to throw any inconveniences my way like making me endure much back ache/arm ache/neck ache/every darn ache in my body carrying my possessions from train to train to the North...oh happy days...! I've realised that i will not be able to cram my entire bedroom into a suitcase and a couple of bags and so my collection of books, dvds and my mothers obses...

It's not exactly the final countdown but time is running out fast and the beginning of term is getting ever nearer. So far so good I've had a great Summer, that's one thing off the checklist. The Parents were quick to donate a toastie maker and egg poaching device to the Uni course and the bank account is all sorted... But, what to do next? Clothes list is organised and shouldn't be too difficult ...

Well its just a few weeks now until i head off to Newcastle university to study zoology! I still have a long list of stuff to do before I go but I think I am fairly prepared. Last week i bought all my pots and pans (good offers on in sainsburys) and have basically just raided the kitchen for the rest of the stuff I needed. Its difficult to know how much stuff to take until you get into your accomo...
